About me
Sonia Doshi is the Vice President of Strategic Operations, Design, and Production for the Office of Technology Enablement at The Walt Disney Company. In this role, she helps lead the company’s responsible adoption of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on AI/ML and extended reality. Sonia oversees design and production efforts across the enterprise, coordinates Disney’s XR strategy, and serves as Chief of Staff to Jamie Voris, EVP & Head of Technology Enablement. She also leads the company’s education and communications strategy for AI and machine learning.
Previously, Sonia was Director of Strategic Operations & Design for Studio Technology, where she tackled high-priority technology initiatives for the Studio, built a culture of inclusive innovation, and led a multidisciplinary UX and visual design team. She played a pivotal role in bringing Disney+ and new story-based experiences to the Apple Vision Pro, helping launch What If…? – An Immersive Story, which earned a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Innovation in Emerging Media Programming as the first-ever interactive Disney+ original. Before joining Disney, Sonia worked in education technology startups as a learning scientist and UX designer, focused on building equitable and meaningful learning experiences and platforms.
